What is D.I.S.C. ?
D.I.S.C. is a personality measurement system based upon the work of Dr. William Marston, a contemporary of Carl Jung,
and one of the foremost psychologists of the twentieth century. Dr.
Marston extensively studied the characteristics, patterns and responses of thousands of individuals to develop a methodology
to reveal their key personality traits.
What does D.I.S.C. reveal?
An individual's core personality
Their 'public mask' - how they are e.g. at work
How they act under pressure
In turn this shows how an individual:
- Solves problems and responds to change
- Attempts to influence or persuade others
- Prefers to operate within a team
- Responds to rules and management
- ......and many other facets of their personality
By understanding more about ourselves, we can build on our strengths and tackle our challenges more easily.
